HR WAYS (PRIVATE) LIMITED is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist with at least one year of professional experience to manage comprehensive HR operations. This role focuses on supporting recruitment processes, employee lifecycle management, compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture within the company. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and knowledge of HR best practices to efficiently handle diverse human resources responsibilities. The HR Generalist contributes to vital functions such as talent acquisition, onboarding, attendance monitoring, policy implementation, employee engagement, performance management, training coordination, and HR reporting. Although no direct team management is required, the candidate collaborates closely with department heads and other stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and a seamless employee experience. This position is based in Karachi with on-site work arrangements during regular business hours from Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
 

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, candidate screening, conducting interviews, and final selection in coordination with department heads to align hiring with company needs.
  • Source potential candidates through various channels such as job portals, professional networks like LinkedIn, and recruitment agencies to maintain an active candidate pipeline and updated hiring tracker.
  • Facilitate comprehensive onboarding procedures including documentation, orientation sessions, and integration of new employees into the organization.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and update HR information systems to reflect employee lifecycle stages from joining to exit.
  • Monitor employee attendance, leave requests, and punctuality, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely generation of monthly attendance reports.
  • Implement and enforce HR policies that comply with labor laws and internal company guidelines, ensuring consistent application across all departments.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances promptly to promote a safe and supportive workplace environment and organize activities that enhance employee engagement.
  • Support the performance management process by assisting with performance appraisals, tracking employee progress, and contributing to development plans.
  • Identify training needs within the organization and coordinate relevant training sessions to support employee skill enhancement and professional growth.
  • Prepare detailed HR reports covering headcount, attrition, attendance, and other relevant metrics to assist in strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the finance department by providing accurate inputs for payroll processing while maintaining strict confidentiality of all HR data and employee information.
  • Stay informed about labor law updates and HR trends to ensure ongoing compliance and adoption of best practices within the HR function.
