Job Summary:
We are seeking a Procurement Officer to join our team which will have at least a graduate degree in a Administration,/Supply Chain Management/commerce/ banking/accounting and a minimum of one year of procurement experience. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the bank’s procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality goods and services.
Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, policies, and procedures.
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and stay updated on industry trends.
Prepare and process purchase orders in line with the bank’s procurement policies.
Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and vendor information.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide timely solutions.
Resolve any issues related to deliveries, invoices, or quality of goods/services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement or a similar role with strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
