Technical Project Manager

About Us:

We are a dynamic tech company seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee the development of web and mobile applications for our clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing website and app development projects and a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the software development lifecycle. This is a remote freelance role, and you will be working with a distributed team on platforms like Upwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage web and app development projects from inception to completion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA testers, to ensure project success.
Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources in collaboration with clients.
Break down complex technical tasks into manageable phases and deliverables.
Provide regular project updates and ensure stakeholders are informed of progress, risks, and changes.
Prioritize and allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Manage and track project budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Conduct risk management and proactively address potential obstacles.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and the successful launch of web and mobile applications.
Review and approve technical specifications, wireframes, and designs before development.
Use project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) to track and document progress.
Foster strong relationships with clients on Upwork, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in website and app development.
Strong understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular) and mobile app development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Swift, Kotlin).
Experience in managing projects using agile methodologies.
Familiarity with project management software (e.g. Trello).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of freelance platforms like Upwork and experience managing client relationships.
A technical background (e.g., degree in Computer Science or related field) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:

Experience in managing eCommerce website development, mobile apps, or SaaS applications.
Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
Experience working in an international, remote work environment.
