Tec is seeking a motivated Sales Assistant to support and drive sales efforts in promoting telecom and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) security solutions including fire alarms, CCTV, and related technologies. The Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with corporate clients, and managing the sales pipeline. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills to prepare proposals and quotations effectively and participate actively in tenders and project discussions. The ideal candidate has a bachelors degree in Business or Engineering and 1 to 3 years of sales experience in the telecom or engineering sector. This position does not involve managing a team but demands proactive engagement with different stakeholders to meet sales targets and grow the clientele base. The Sales Assistant works closely with the sales team and other departments to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve business objectives. This role emphasizes customer interaction, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored solutions. The candidate must be self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of utilizing email communication tools such as Outlook or Gmail efficiently. Responsibilities
 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and client engagement.
  • Promote telecom and ELV security solutions, including fire alarm systems, CCTV, and other related products.
  • Manage relationships with corporate clients and maintain an organized sales pipeline to track prospects and sales progression.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and conduct follow-up communications to ensure timely responses and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate actively in tenders and project discussions to support the successful acquisition of new contracts.
  • Collaborate effectively with the sales team to align efforts and strategies that contribute to overall sales goals.
  • Maintain and utilize email communication tools such as Outlook or Gmail to coordinate with clients and internal teams efficiently.
  • Attend client meetings to understand their requirements and recommend suitable solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to advise clients and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Support post-sale activities to ensure smooth project initiation and continuity, fostering long-term relationships.
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business opportunities for reporting and planning.
