Principal Software Test Engineer

We are seeking a QA Engineer to test and analyze third-party API integrations, ensuring seamless backend performance. This role requires technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and proactive communication to collaborate across teams and partners globally.

Responsibilitiesa

Test 3rd party APIs using Postman or similar tool
Analyze 3rd party API documentation
Identify inconsistencies, problems or ambiguities in the API behavior
Communicate with partners to troubleshoot issues
Communicate technical updates to internal stakeholders in a timely fashion
Monitor existing API integrations for problems - analyze logs, build dashboards,check queues, etc.
Help with planning & prioritizing
Requirements

5+ years working experience in professional environment
Strong communication skills
Strong ability to manage conflicting priorities, setting expectations with stakeholders
and be a driving force
Experience with Postman
Experience with testing or using REST & SOAP APIs
Strong understanding of JSON & XML
Excellent verbal and written English
Excellent time management skills and desire to work across time zones (big part of
tech team is in USA) – be able to overlap till 9pm (PKT)
Experience with Python or any other scripting language
Experience with Datadog / Seq / Scalyr or other log analysis tool
