Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and professional Virtual Assistant – Physician Outreach Specialist to support our business development efforts remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for initiating and maintaining meaningful relationships with physicians, clinics, hospitals, and other referral sources to generate new patient referrals for our DME services.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential referral sources in alignment with regional and company goals.
Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to engage healthcare providers and decision-makers.
Conduct virtual presentations and educational sessions to showcase the value of CPO’s services and solutions.
Build strong, trust-based relationships with physicians, office staff, and clinical coordinators.
Provide information, referral forms, and guidance to streamline the referral process.
Address physician inquiries with professionalism and ensure timely follow-up.
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure a seamless and positive referral experience.
Maintain accurate records of all outreach activities using CRM software.
Track key performance metrics and report progress on referral generation efforts.
Stay informed on industry trends, referral practices, and competitor offerings.
Represent the organization in a professional manner during virtual networking and conference opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2–5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development within the healthcare sector.
Proven success in building and managing relationships with healthcare professionals.
Experience with CRM systems for tracking leads, follow-ups, and outcomes.
Strong cold calling, lead generation, and pitch delivery experience.
Background in DME, pharmaceuticals, or medical device industries is highly preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology and a basic understanding of orthotic/prosthetic products.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Clear and persuasive communication with a strong ability to present virtually.
Strong sales acumen and negotiation ability.
Understanding of physician referral systems and healthcare provider needs.
Strategic thinker with a focus on planning and execution.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple contacts and outreach efforts.
Professional, credible, and results-driven.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in email platforms, CRM tools, and virtual presentation software.
Basic Requirements:
Must be proficient in speaking and writing English very clearly.
Must have relevant work experience.
Be able to submit an NBI clearance or Local Police Clearance background check if requested.
Must be available for video meetings with your camera on.
Must have no other clients during required work hours.
