Senior Finance Officer

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Financial Management & Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for management.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business decisions.
• Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and variances against budgets.

Accounts Management:

• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and financial discrepancies.
• Manage tax filings, audits, and compliance with local and international regulations.
• Ensure proper documentation and internal controls for financial transactions.

Accounting Software & Systems:

• Utilize advanced accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Xero, etc.) to maintain financial records.
• Implement process improvements and automation for efficiency in financial operations.
• Train and support junior staff in using financial systems effectively.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

• Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, HR, Procurement) to align financial strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred).
• Experience: 4-5 years in finance/accounting roles.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).

Salary Range: 55000 - 70000
