Role Description The Accountant position is a full-time, on-site role based in Karachi, responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations. This role includes maintaining accurate general ledger entries, processing invoices and payments, reconciling bank statements, and monitoring accounts payable and receivable. They will collaborate with operations and management teams to track costs, analyze financial performance, and support decision-making for pricing, inventory, and financing models. The role also involves maintaining organized financial records and recommending process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update company financial records
• Assist in budget planning and cash flow management
• Conduct financial analysis and ensure accuracy in reporting
• Support the team with routine accounting tasks
• Draft financial correspondence and reports
• Utilize advanced Excel techniques to maintain accounting records
• Preparation of corporate and income tax computations.
• Ensure cashflow is utilized properly and protect reserves.
• Audit financial information for inconsistencies.
• Providing tax planning strategies in accordance with existing legislation.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Good and up to date knowledge of taxation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.
• Ethical and detail-oriented professional.
