Team Leader - Debt Collection / Financial Services

Amicor Solutions is seeking a dedicated Team Leader for Debt Collection within the Financial Services sector. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in debt recovery management and will lead a team of eight members to achieve collection targets while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills to guide, motivate, and develop the collections team to improve overall performance and efficiency. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing effective collection strategies and continuously monitoring team metrics to meet company goals. In this role, the Team Leader will oversee daily operations related to debt recovery, ensuring that all processes comply with legal and regulatory frameworks. The person will analyze collection data to inform strategy adjustments and support business intelligence reporting. Strong communication and management skills are essential for addressing challenges, coaching staff, and collaborating with other departments to enhance the financial recovery process.
Responsibilities
 

• Lead and manage a team of eight debt collection specialists, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team performance objectives.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve debt collection strategies to maximize recovery rates and minimize delinquency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies during the debt collection process.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics of the debt collection team, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions.
• Conduct regular coaching, training, and motivation sessions to develop team members skills and maintain high levels of engagement.
• Analyze collection data and generate detailed reports to inform management decisions and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with other departments such as legal, finance, and customer service to ensure a smooth and effective recovery process.
• Address complex or escalated customer cases professionally and efficiently to resolve disputes and secure payments.
• Manage resources efficiently to maintain productivity and achieve departmental objectives within the budget.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in financial compliance regulations to ensure the company's debt collection practices remain current and effective.
