Manager of Finance

Job Description

Nobel Point seeks a skilled Manager of Finance with over five years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the trading or commercial sector. This role focuses on overseeing daily financial operations to ensure optimal treasury management and cash flow. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in account and business management, providing precise control over inventory, landed costs, and warehouse reconciliations. This position requires a proactive professional who is knowledgeable in tax compliances, including federal and regional tax authorities, income, and sales tax returns, along with corporate regulatory matters. The Manager of Finance at Nobel Point will play a pivotal role in maintaining strong banking relationships and managing trade finance activities such as Import and Export Letters of Credit. Although this position does not require team management responsibilities, it demands a highly organized individual capable of independently handling complex financial tasks while driving efficiencies and compliance throughout financial workflows. This role is crucial to uphold the companys financial integrity and support sound decision-making aligned with corporate objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in treasury functions and cash flow optimization.
- Maintain strict control over inventory management processes, landed cost calculations, and reconciliation of warehouse records.
- Ensure full compliance with federal and regional tax regulations, including managing returns for income tax and sales tax.
- Handle all corporate financial matters related to statutory compliance and reporting requirements.
- Manage and nurture banking relationships to facilitate smooth financial transactions and access trade finance solutions.
- Administer Import and Export Letters of Credit, ensuring correct documentation and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Continuously review and improve financial procedures, maintaining best practices and risk controls.
- Prepare detailed reports on financial performance and provide insights to senior management to support strategic planning.
- Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and advise the company on necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
