Shoaib Enterprises is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Clerk/ Accounts Assistant with at least one year of experience to support the finance department. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, performing invoicing and billing activities, managing accounts receivable, and ensuring data integrity through effective bookkeeping practices. The candidate will work closely with the accounting team to process transactions, update ledgers, and assist with financial reporting tasks using various accounting software, including QuickBooks. Attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential to perform day-to-day accounting functions efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering financial data, processing invoices, and managing collections while adhering to basic accounting principles. The role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently without team management responsibilities. Responsibilities
 

  • Perform accurate bookkeeping and maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Process accounts receivable transactions including invoice generation and payment tracking.
  • Manage collections and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely receipt of funds.
  • Prepare and process billing and invoicing using relevant software like QuickBooks and billing systems.
  • Enter financial data into accounting systems and perform data entry tasks with high accuracy.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for preparing spreadsheets, reports, and data analysis related to accounting tasks.
  • Apply basic accounting principles to assist in the preparation and verification of financial documents.
  • Support the finance team by reconciling accounts and verifying financial information for accuracy.
  • Assist with periodic audits by providing required documentation and records.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and follow company policies regarding data security.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies related to invoices or payments.
  • Continuously improve accounting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency in record keeping.
