AKES, Pakistan is seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, Communications & Donor Relations to provide support in planning, implementing, and managing communication initiatives, and fundraise from corporates. The role focuses on strengthening the organization’s image, supporting internal and external communications, and coordinating marketing and media-related activities across AKES, Pakistan. Partnership management with corporates will also be expected.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating corporate collateral such as presentations, brochures, newsletters, annual reports, and other publications.
  • Develop and maintain databases and archives of media contacts, publications, photo archives, reports, and case studies.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications activities, including planning events and seminars.
  • Ensure adherence to graphic standards across publications, stationery, and other materials.
  • Support corporate culture initiatives by circulating internal communications, maintaining records, and reporting on key activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, media, alumni, and communities.
  • Support marketing services for schools, including development of prospectuses, newsletters, and other promotional materials.
  • Donor Relations: Facilitate small and large gifts from corporate CSR funds by building relationships with corporates. Identify and follow up on fundraising leads to support our financial assistance fund or construction projects.
  • Any other communications-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

 

Required Skills

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in communications or fundraising. The ideal candidate should possess strong writing, editing, and presentation skills in both English and Urdu. Creativity, strategic thinking, and the ability to work across multiple media are essential for this role. Strong planning, coordination, and time management skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, are required.
