Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit existing customers and identify potential customers through periodic sales calls.
  • Maintain extensive networking in the Karachi market with exporters to keep tabs on our business and the competition, attracting the most profitable business for MSC.
  • Update all sales visits based on the above activities, enabling management to view current business developments in your area.
  • Contribute to the development of a trusted in-house market intelligence reporting tool.
  • Target new business with higher freight rates to boost profitability on a freight-based budget, complemented by Value-Added Services (VAS) products.
  • Check daily inventory of special equipment and focus on exporting full containers rather than empty repositioning.
  • Target new businesses for Reefers for all sectors to increase profitability on a freight-based budget round year.
  • Oversee the smooth operation of your area in the absence of Manager.


 

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Sales Revenue: Total revenue generated from sales activities of the sales team, aiming for continuous growth.
  • Customer Acquisition Rate: Number of new customers acquired within a specific period, with a focus on high-value clients.
  • Customer Retention Rate: Percentage of existing customers retained over time, ensuring long-term relationships.
  • Lead Conversion Rate: Percentage of leads converted into actual sales, aiming for high conversion rates.
  • Market Share: Percentage of the market captured by the company, striving for increased market presence.
  • Customer Satisfaction Score: Measure of customer satisfaction based on feedback and surveys, aiming for high satisfaction levels.
  • Sales Call Effectiveness: Success rate of sales calls in generating leads or closing deals, focusing on quality interactions.
  • Sales Forecast Accuracy: Measures the accuracy of sales forecasts and projections, ensuring realistic target setting.
  • Value-Added Services (VAS) Sales: Revenue generated from VAS products, highlighting the effectiveness of promoting and selling these services.
  • Inventory Management Efficiency: Effectiveness of managing special equipment inventory and prioritizing full container exports to optimize logistics and reduce costs.
  • Training and Development Participation: Participation and effectiveness of sales training programs, ensuring continuous skill enhancement.
  • Event Participation and Networking: Number of industry events, trade shows, and conferences attended, and the quality of networking achieved.


 

Education & Qualification:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field from a reputable Business Institute
  • 3-5 years of experience in export sales, international business, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade laws.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to adapt to diverse business environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
