Job Summary:

Total School Solutions (TSS) is a leading California-based international education consulting firm, is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Supervisor to help streamline our data processes and enhance our marketing strategies.
The Data Supervisor will play a central role in the data management pipeline by cleaning, organizing, and maintaining datasets used for marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in data mining, data analytics, and process optimization to ensure the effective use of data for targeted marketing campaigns. You will work closely with the Data team and marketing manager to transform raw data into valuable marketing intelligence, ultimately helping to drive data-backed decisions and improve engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Review and validate data lists prepared by the data team to ensure accuracy and reduce error rates. Utilize data validation tools like Debounce to check data quality and eliminate inconsistencies.
Data Cleansing & Formatting: Format and clean data sheets prepared by the data team, ensuring that they meet the required standards for campaign use. Standardize and enrich raw data to improve usability and alignment with campaign specifications.
Data Integrity & Storage: Ensure high standards of data integrity and accuracy are maintained across all datasets. Store validated and formatted data in the internal database for easy access and ongoing use.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing manager to understand campaign needs and ensure timely delivery of data for outreach and segmentation efforts.
Database Management: Regularly update and maintain internal databases to ensure accurate and efficient data storage, supporting targeted marketing and segmentation activities.
Process Improvement: Develop and implement efficient processes for managing large volumes of data, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, and improving overall data handling practices.
Compliance & Privacy: Ensure all data management processes comply with privacy laws and regulations to protect company's sensitive data .
Reporting & Insights: Provide insights on data performance, identifying trends and areas of improvement to optimize marketing strategies and campaign targeting.

Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred).
Technical Proficiency: Advanced MS Excel skills; knowledge of SQL or similar data management tools.
Experience: Proven experience in data mining, data entry, and managing large datasets.
Geographical Knowledge: Understanding of U.S. states, counties, and districts (a plus).
Organizational Insight: Familiarity with the U.S schools' organizational hierarchy (a plus).
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines effectively.
Remote Work Competence: Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Additional Skills:

Prior experience with data mining in the US education sector
Knowledge of Data Scraping
