We are hiring a Dental Revenue Cycle & Operations Lead to lead, stabilize, and scale a virtual team supporting dental practices across insurance, revenue cycle, and front-office operations.
This is a leadership role, not a support position.
You will be responsible for:
- Owning the performance of the revenue cycle function
- Leading and developing a team of virtual team members
- Strengthening systems, workflows, and accountability across operations

Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Cycle Ownership
- Oversee end-to-end insurance workflows, including verification, claims submission, aging, and payment tracking
- Monitor KPIs and identify trends impacting revenue performance
- Reduce claim denials, delays, and rework through structured improvements
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across all revenue cycle processes
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of virtual team members across multiple client accounts
- Set performance expectations and hold team members accountable to outcomes
- Provide ongoing feedback, training, and support to improve individual and team performance
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and development of new team members
- Build a team culture grounded in ownership, reliability, and clarity
Operational Oversight & System Design
- Evaluate workflows and identify inefficiencies or breakdown points
- Design and implement scalable processes to improve consistency and throughput
- Maintain clear documentation and standardized operating procedures
- Ensure accountability structures are in place across team workflows
Client & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex operational or insurance issues
- Align communication between clients, team members, and external stakeholders
- Participate in client-facing conversations when needed to maintain alignment and trust
- Support cross-functional coordination between operations, talent, and leadership teams
Patient & Practice Experience
- Ensure accurate and timely communication with patients regarding benefits and scheduling
- Maintain high standards for coordination, follow-through, and documentation
- Protect both operational flow and patient trust through reliable execution
Success Metrics
- Reduction in claim denials, delays, and rework
- Timeliness and resolution rate of insurance claims
- Performance and retention of virtual team members
- Operational consistency across workflows and client accounts
- Ability to identify and resolve systemic issues without escalation
- Client satisfaction and trust in operational delivery
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in dental insurance, billing, and revenue cycle management
- Strong working knowledge of Denticon (preferred) or similar dental practice management systems
- Previous experience leading or mentoring team members in a remote or distributed environment
- Proven ability to move beyond execution into ownership and system improvement
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify patterns and solve root issues
- Clear, structured communication across teams and stakeholders

- Backup power solution (generator or equivalent) required to maintain uninterrupted availability
- Professional home office setup suitable for full-time remote work

Schedule
Full-time, aligned with U.S. business hours. Starting schedule is 6:00 am - 3:00 pm PT.
Specific schedules are confirmed based on client alignment following onboarding and training period.
