Deputy Manager Business Planning

BYD Pakistan, Mega Motor Co, is looking for a "Deputy Manager – Business Planning" in their Information Technology department.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in SAP Planning, Business Planning, or Financial Planning applications, with a minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning.

The candidate will act as a key functional and technical resource responsible for implementing, enhancing, and managing SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions to support business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.

The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements from Finance and Business Planning teams, designing and maintaining SAP SAC Planning models, stories, dashboards, and planning applications, while configuring budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and financial planning models.

The individual will develop Data Actions, Allocations, Business Rules, Calendar Tasks, Multi Actions, and Planning Workflows, while enabling seamless integration between SAP SAC and enterprise systems including SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP HANA, and other data sources.

The candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and IT to improve planning and reporting processes, support data validation, reconciliation, and data quality management, while troubleshooting application issues and coordinating with technical teams for timely resolution.

The role also requires conducting end-user training, preparing functional documentation, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring system performance, security, governance, and best practices across all planning and analytics solutions.

Additional Requirements:

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) certification will be an advantage. Experience with SAP BPC, SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SQL, and data integration concepts will be considered a plus. Exposure to Automotive, Pharmaceuticals, Retail, or similar industries, along with experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments, will be an added advantage.
