Distribution Manager

The incumbent must have extensive experience in end-to-end supply chain, logistics operations, and inventory management across cold chain and ambient products. The incumbent must have track record in optimizing warehouse operations, depot management, and replenishment strategies to ensure high service levels and cost efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

• Expert in developing and implementing strategic replenishment models, network optimization, and inventory positioning, enabling improved responsiveness to market demand and reduced supply chain inefficiencies. Strong focus on cold chain and ambient distribution planning, ensuring compliance, product integrity, and seamless execution across all touchpoints.
• Experienced in managing multi-location distribution networks, ensuring timely product availability while maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing stock-outs. Skilled in executing efficient replenishment strategies, aligning closely with demand planning and sales forecasts to drive high service levels. Adept at managing both cold chain and ambient product flows, ensuring compliance with quality standards and maintaining product integrity throughout the distribution cycle.
• Proven ability to improve operational efficiency through process optimization, warehouse capacity utilization, and route planning, leading to cost reduction and enhanced service performance. Strong focus on real-time issue resolution, including managing short shipments, supply disruptions, and urgent replenishment requirements.
• Demonstrates effective team leadership and cross-functional coordination with procurement, planning, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations. Experienced in vendor and transporter management, performance monitoring, and implementation of SOPs and KPIs.

Key Requirements:

The candidate must have/be:

• an MBA degree
• around 8-12 years of experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry
• Knowledge of Supply Chain & Distribution Management, Warehouse & Inventory Management, Cold Chain & Temperature-Controlled Logistics, Transportation & Fleet Management
• Insight about Demand Planning & Forecast Alignment, and replenishment Strategies & Stock Optimization
