Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dyeing Processing Manager / Dyeing Master based in Karāchi. The role involves overseeing day-to-day dyeing operations for knitted fabrics, including planning dye batches, monitoring dyeing processes, and ensuring color consistency and quality standards. The Dyeing Processing Manager / Dyeing Master will manage dyeing recipes, control chemical and dyestuff usage, and troubleshoot process issues to minimize rework and wastage. Responsibilities include coordinating with production, knitting, and finishing teams to meet delivery deadlines, maintaining machine parameters, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations. The role also includes training and guiding dye house staff, maintaining production and quality records, and collaborating with management on continuous process improvement and cost optimization.
Qualifications
 

  • Strong analytical skills to monitor process parameters, identify root causes of defects, and optimize dyeing recipes and production efficiency.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, and merchandising teams, and to clearly guide dye house staff.
  • Customer service orientation to understand buyer quality requirements, respond to technical queries, and support on-time, quality-focused deliveries.
  • Finance awareness to manage dyeing costs, control chemical and dyestuff consumption, and contribute to budgeting and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ability to apply underwriting-type judgment in approving production lots, setting acceptance criteria, and assessing risks related to fabric quality and color standards.
  • Proven experience in fabric dyeing (preferably knitted garments), with strong knowledge of dyes, chemicals, shade matching, and lab-to-bulk scaling.
  • Familiarity with lab dip development, color measurement tools (e.g., spectrophotometer), and standard quality control procedures.
  • Diploma or degree in Textile Engineering / Textile Chemistry or a related field, or substantial equivalent experience in a dye house leadership role.
  • Ability to lead teams, enforce safety and environmental compliance, and work effectively in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
