Job Description

EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Executive Officer for the UAT Team within the Health Section of Corporate Benefits Operations. This role focuses on ensuring the successful deployment and enhancement of health system lines of business through rigorous User Acceptance Testing and defect management. The ideal candidate possesses at least two years of relevant experience and demonstrates strong communication skills, a deep understanding of testing methodologies, and proficiency in managing collaborative efforts with stakeholders and technical teams. The position does not include team management responsibilities but requires coordination and collaboration with various departments to support project goals and maintain high-quality system implementations. The Executive Officer is responsible for preparing and documenting Business Requirements Documentation (BRD), developing comprehensive UAT test plans, and managing defect tracking processes. This role demands constant communication with project stakeholders to provide updates and escalate issues as needed. The officer ensures that testing activities align with business requirements and quality standards, contributes ideas for continuous process improvement, and uses project management and defect tracking tools efficiently. Emphasis is placed on analytical skills and attention to detail to anticipate and address challenges throughout the testing lifecycle, guaranteeing compliance with organizational standards and ensuring a seamless user experience upon system release.
Responsibilities
 

  • Gather and clarify stakeholder requirements to prepare detailed and accurate Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) that supports system development projects within corporate benefits health operations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test plans to validate new health system deployments and enhancements, ensuring they meet defined business needs and quality criteria.
  • Coordinate and execute UAT activities by collaborating closely with project managers, developers, business analysts, and relevant departments to promote effective communication and efficient issue resolution.
  • Manage defect tracking processes by promptly identifying, documenting, and monitoring issues, working collaboratively with technical teams and stakeholders to achieve timely corrective action.
  • Perform thorough system testing and validation to confirm that new health system modules align with business objectives and comply with organizational standards and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain clear and continuous communication with all stakeholders by providing regular status reports, escalating issues, and updating testing progress to ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Utilize defect tracking and test management tools effectively to log, monitor, and report on testing activities, fostering transparency and accountability throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Analyze testing outcomes to identify areas for improvement and recommend process enhancements that strengthen quality assurance practices and boost operational efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed performance and testing progress reports that clearly communicate the status of test execution, defects found, and resolution efforts to stakeholders and management.
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to anticipate potential challenges during testing phases and develop proactive mitigation strategies to minimize risks.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by staying current with best practices in User Acceptance Testing and defect management and integrating these insights into daily testing activities.
  • Ensure full compliance with corporate policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements throughout all phases of User Acceptance Testing and system implementation.
