Head of Pakistan Office

Role Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on, finance-strong leader for one of our clients. You will build and scale a 25+ member team across four service lines, ensure seamless GCC client delivery, manage office operations and compliance, and represent JAP as the senior Pakistan representative. You may also act as Finance Officer on select GCC client engagements.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Lead and scale Karachi as a high-performing GCC delivery hub
• Own delivery quality across Finance, Project Management, and KYC teams
• Act as Finance Officer on 1–2 GCC client engagements (financial reporting, regulatory filings)
• Recruit, onboard, and retain 25+ professionals across four service lines
• Manage office budget, monthly financial reporting to Group CFO, and cost variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with Pakistan labour law, tax, and corporate obligations
• Implement Group policies (HR, Finance, Information Security, Data Protection)
• Coordinate cross-border with Dubai HQ, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, and Doha offices
• Maintain minimum 5-hour daily overlap with GCC business hours
  
  
   

Requirements:

• 12+ years in finance and operations; minimum 5 years leading 15+ staff
• Proven experience running an offshore/nearshore delivery centre for international clients
• Strong financial reporting, management accounting, or finance function leadership background
• Experience with GCC regulated firms; DIFC, ADGM, SAMA, QFC familiarity is a plus
• ACA / ACCA / CFA / CPA strongly preferred; CAMS is a plus
• Fluent English (mandatory) + Urdu (mandatory); Arabic is a plus
• Financial services, GRC consulting, or professional services background essential
