Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Karachi for an Injection Molding Machine Operator. The operator will set up, start, and stop injection molding machines according to production schedules and work instructions. Day-to-day tasks include adjusting machine settings, monitoring production runs, and inspecting molded parts for quality, dimensions, and defects. The role involves performing basic maintenance such as cleaning molds, checking oil and coolant levels, and reporting mechanical issues to maintenance staff. The operator will handle raw materials, load and unload molds, label and pack finished products, and complete production logs accurately. The position requires following safety procedures, using personal protective equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized work area while collaborating with supervisors, quality inspectors, and other production team members.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating injection molding machines, including setup, parameter adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and quality control practices in a factory environment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, basic technical drawings, and production schedules.
• Attention to detail for visual inspection, dimensional checks, and identification of defects in molded parts.
• Commitment to safety procedures, use of personal protective equipment, and good housekeeping on the shop floor.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced production setting.
• Basic math and measurement skills, including use of calipers, gauges, and other simple measuring tools.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability, with a willingness to work shifts or overtime when required.
• Previous experience in plastics manufacturing or injection molding is preferred; technical or vocational training is an advantage.
• Minimum secondary school education or equivalent; further technical education in mechanical or industrial fields is a plus.
