Therapeutic Specialist (Oncology and Ophthalmology)

The Therapeutic Specialist is a senior individual-contributor role with a level comparable to an Area Manager / product specialist. The position requires strong product specialization and field execution, with no direct reports.

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct regular visits to selected healthcare professionals (HCPs) for scientific engagement.
• Record daily visit activity in Veeva and maintain accurate, timely field reporting.
• Monitor sales performance through Veeva on a daily basis and identify relevant follow-up actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly activity plans in Veeva in alignment with business priorities.
• Visit hospital pharmacies and procurement departments to support access, availability, and institutional engagement.
• Maintain regular engagement with chain and leading pharmacies to strengthen product presence and execution.
• Visit Bayer-authorized distributors regularly to review stock levels and delivery status.
• Coordinate with distributors through email and telephone to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
• Develop thought leaders as Bayer product speakers and advocates where appropriate.
• Present monthly performance updates during the Monthly Business Review meeting.
• Execute approved marketing strategies in line with business and compliance requirements.
• Organize scientific programs and complete all required documentation in accordance with provided guidelines.
• Achieve assigned product targets and take ownership of territory performance.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Education: Pharm-D, B. Pharmacy, BSc, or MBA.
• Experience: 4 to 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in specialized products.
• Effective business communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills
