Interior Designer & Sales Executive

About the Position

Artitect Studio by Zakutaa Interior is looking for a confident, creative, and sales-driven Interior Designer to join our growing team.

We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of interior design and project execution and can also meet clients, present design solutions, prepare quotations, follow up with leads, and convert potential clients into confirmed projects.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both designing and selling and is confident dealing directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities

Interior Design

• Understand client requirements, preferences, and budget.
• Develop and present interior design concepts and solutions.
• Prepare or coordinate 2D/3D designs, layouts, and design proposals.
• Take site measurements and understand project requirements.
• Recommend suitable materials, finishes, furniture, and design elements.
• Coordinate with the site team to ensure design requirements are properly executed.

Sales & Client Conversion

• Handle incoming leads and inquiries professionally.
• Meet potential clients and understand their requirements.
• Present company services, designs, and project proposals.
• Prepare and explain quotations and BOQs to clients.
• Follow up regularly with potential clients.
• Negotiate professionally and convert leads into confirmed projects.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and help achieve company sales targets.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with workers, contractors, vendors, and site teams.
• Visit project sites when required.
• Monitor progress and ensure work follows approved designs and quality standards.
• Provide regular updates to clients and management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Interior Design, Sales, Business Development, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of interior design, renovation, materials, finishes, and construction.
• Good understanding of drawings, measurements, and site execution.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong sales, negotiation, follow-up, and client-conversion skills.
• Confident personality with professional client-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients/projects.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Lumion, or similar software will be an advantage.
• Previous experience in an interior design, architecture, construction, or renovation company will be preferred.

Important

This is not a design-only position.

The selected candidate will be expected to handle both Interior Design and Sales/Client Conversion.

Lead → Client Meeting → Design/Proposal → Quotation → Follow-up → Project Confirmation
