Lab Assistant (Lubricating Oil Manufacturing)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to join our lubricating oil manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in lubricant testing, quality control, and laboratory operations while ensuring compliance with quality management standards.

Location: Korangi Creek, Karachi

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant laboratory experience in the lubricating oil or petroleum industry (preferred).
• Knowledge of lubricant testing methods and laboratory instruments.
• Basic understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Candidate:

• Immediate Joiners are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in lubricating oil manufacturing will be given preference.

Responsibilities
 

• Assist in lubricant formulation and blending process.
• Perform routine testing of lubricating oils, raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Conduct quality control inspections during production.
• Maintain laboratory records, test reports, and documentation.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and laboratory procedures.
• Monitor product quality and report any deviations.
• Assist in product development and formulation trials.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety standards.
• Coordinate with the production and quality departments.
• Handle sample collection, retention, and record management.
