Eila Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join their team in Karachi. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the water sector, environmental projects, or infrastructure projects. This role focuses on analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting strategic financial planning to ensure the profitability and efficiency of projects. The Financial Analyst collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, and operations teams to monitor financial performance and maintain accurate cost tracking. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Although this role does not involve team management, it demands strong communication skills to provide actionable financial insights to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and business plans to guide project and corporate financial decisions.
Evaluate costs, revenues, and profitability metrics of water treatment plants, infrastructure projects, and related contracts to ensure financial viability.
Monitor and control project budgets, cash flows, expenditures, and overall financial performance against targets and forecasts.
Develop detailed financial models to assess the feasibility and profitability of new projects, business expansions, investments, and strategic opportunities.
Identify potential financial risks associated with projects and operations and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
Support ongoing regulatory compliance efforts, internal and external audits, and statutory financial reporting requirements to maintain transparency and adherence.
Provide timely financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive informed strategic planning and operational improvements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, engineers, and operations personnel to ensure accurate cost tracking, budgeting, and financial planning aligned with project objectives.
Track and analyze key performance indicators related to financial performance and project efficiency, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Maintain proficiency in advanced financial tools including Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and specialized financial reporting software to enhance analysis accuracy and efficiency.
