Logistics Manager

Aquarius HR is seeking a results-driven Logistics Manager to lead and optimize last-mile delivery operations in Pakistan within a Cash on Delivery (COD) model. This role is ideal for a strong operational specialist who can manage logistics processes end-to-end and directly impact key business metrics such as buyout rate, delivery success, and overall efficiency.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in last-mile logistics, e-commerce, or delivery operations, and is comfortable managing both in-house couriers and third-party logistics providers. They are capable of building structured processes, controlling execution, and ensuring consistent delivery performance in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires a high level of ownership and operational discipline. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for distributing orders, optimizing delivery routes, monitoring execution in real time, and quickly resolving issues that affect delivery outcomes. A key part of the role is working with data — tracking KPIs such as buyout rate, returns, and SLA performance, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing improvements.

In addition to logistics operations, the candidate will oversee confirmation operators, ensuring high-quality order verification and accurate customer data, which directly impacts delivery success. Strong attention to detail and process control is essential to maintain clean order flows and reduce cancellations or non-buyouts.

The position also involves active vendor management, including negotiating rates, monitoring performance, and replacing underperforming partners. The successful candidate is analytical, execution-focused, and capable of making fast, data-driven decisions to improve operational results.

Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets is required for reporting and analysis. Fluency in a local language (Urdu or regional) is essential for communication with couriers and partners, while conversational English is needed for internal collaboration.

Experience in COD operations and high-volume environments will be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize all logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods within established parameters.
• Coordinate with couriers and operators to maintain efficient last-mile delivery processes without direct supervisory responsibilities.
• Analyze supply chain and inventory data using Excel or Google Sheets to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strict operational discipline and adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements in all aspects of logistics management.
• React quickly and effectively to logistics problems, implementing corrective actions to minimize disruptions and maintain service continuity.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers using local languages and conversational English to resolve logistics issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment efforts to prevent stockouts or excess holdings.
• Generate regular reports on logistics performance, highlighting key metrics and recommending improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices throughout the logistics process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes affecting supply chain and last-mile delivery operations.
• Support company growth by contributing innovative ideas and solutions to logistics challenges.
• Maintain accurate documentation of shipments, inventory records, and logistics activities for audit and operational purposes.
