Supply Chain Executive

Al Ameen Trading Corporation Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Executive with a minimum of five years of experience, preferably in textile machinery parts such as bearings. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in supply chain management, inventory control, logistics, procurement strategies, and the application of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). This role includes overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality. The Supply Chain Executive will lead a team of seven members, guiding and coordinating efforts to meet the companys operational objectives and client expectations. This position requires dedication to streamlining inventory management, negotiating with suppliers, planning transportation, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. The candidate must demonstrate strategic thinking to forecast demand accurately and develop procurement strategies that align with company goals. Effective communication and leadership skills are essential to manage the team and collaborate across departments to enhance supply chain effectiveness and foster continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
 

• Manage and oversee the complete supply chain process for textile machinery parts, ensuring consistent availability of bearing components.
• Lead a team of seven supply chain professionals to achieve operational targets and improve productivity.
• Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
• Coordinate logistics operations including transportation planning and shipment tracking using Transportation Management Systems.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems to monitor warehouse activities, maximize storage efficiency, and maintain proper documentation.
• Negotiate procurement contracts with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply channels.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, reduce costs, and enhance delivery performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement, production, and sales plans with supply chain capabilities.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to anticipate risks and seize improvement opportunities within the supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the supply chain.
• Prepare reports and presentations on supply chain performance metrics for senior management review.
• Foster continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices and innovative solutions in supply chain processes.
