Role Description The Marchants role at Qist Bazaar is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi. This role is responsible for managing and updating product listings, ensuring accurate pricing and installment details, and coordinating with suppliers to maintain stock availability across all categories. The Marchant will monitor marketplace performance, analyze product demand, and recommend new items or categories to support business growth. Daily tasks include verifying product information, resolving listing issues, aligning promotions with marketing and sales teams, and supporting customer-facing teams with product-related queries. The role also involves maintaining compliance with internal policies and contributing to process improvements for a smooth, reliable shopping experience.
Qualifications

 

• Experience in marketplace or retail operations, including product listing management and inventory coordination.
• Skills in data entry, accuracy in documentation, and basic data analysis for tracking product performance.
• Knowledge of pricing, promotions, and installment-based sales models, preferably in e-commerce or consumer electronics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with suppliers, internal teams, and support staff.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools and basic familiarity with online marketplace platforms.
• Manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in merchandising, category management, or retail/e-commerce is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
