Based in Sydney, we work across weddings, cultural events, corporate activations, community festivals, council events, and large-scale public celebrations. Our work includes event styling, stage design, floral and decorative setups, lighting features, festival installations, themed decorations, and creative event concepts.

We operate across multiple event brands under the TMEvents Group and work with a wide range of clients, including private clients, councils, community organisations, corporate clients, and event organisers across Australia.

About the Role

TMEvents Group is looking for a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to support our marketing, communications, outreach, and business development activities.

This role suits someone who is creative, detail-oriented, organised, and confident in written English, with the ability to draft professional emails, prepare presentations, support social media content, and assist with tender and outreach-related work.

You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and coordinate with Operations on real projects delivered across Australia.

This is a hands-on execution role, not a management position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and respond to professional client and outreach emails.
  • Create and edit social media posts, reels, and captions.
  • Edit event photos and short-form videos.
  • Prepare presentations and pitch decks for outreach, proposals, and tenders.
  • Assist with tender trackers and supporting documentation.
  • Research upcoming council, corporate, festival, and community event opportunities.
  • Support marketing campaigns such as Ramadan, Eid, Lunar New Year, Christmas, wedding season, and cultural festivals.
  • Coordinate with Operations to gather event content, photos, updates, and project details.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all TMEvents Group brands.
  • Support general business development tasks, including lead tracking, follow-ups, and client outreach material.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and spoken English is essential.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable writing emails, captions, proposals, and presentation content.
  • Basic to intermediate skills in design tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe, or similar.
  • Organised, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work remotely with clear communication and regular updates.
  • Must have a stable internet connection and a suitable work environment.
  • Formal education in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in marketing, communications, content creation, or business development.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools.
  • Exposure to proposals, tenders, or client-facing documents.
  • Experience working with international clients or brands.
  • Basic understanding of events, weddings, festivals, or creative industries.
