Job Overview
This role is responsible for supporting marketing, product promotion, market research, content development, and go-to-market activities related to Al Rafay Consulting's SaaS product portfolio. The intern will contribute to real business initiatives, assist in campaign execution, support lead generation efforts, and work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product visibility and customer acquisition. The role operates within an AI-first working environment where interns are trained on the tools the company uses and are expected to apply them productively in their day-to-day responsibilities. The ideal candidate is not defined by prior experience but by initiative, adaptability, creativity, and a genuine willingness to develop practical skills in digital marketing and SaaS product growth.

Key Responsibilities
AI Tools Training & Application
Receive hands-on training on ARC’s AI tool stack and apply it to real marketing tasks within the first week.
Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalents) to accelerate content drafting, research, and campaign preparation — not as a shortcut, but as a force multiplier for quality and output.
Digital Marketing & Growth Support
Assist in executing digital marketing and outreach campaigns tied to the SaaS product go-to-market plan.
Build and maintain media outreach lists, industry directories, and backlink opportunity trackers.
Support campaign tracking and reporting using Excel or Microsoft Planner.
Draft LinkedIn and email outreach content that is on-brand, targeted, and conversion-focused.
Content Creation & SEO
Write and refine website pages, blog content, and landing page copy for the SaaS product.
Optimise all content for SEO: keyword integration, meta tags, heading structure, and readability.
Support the development and maintenance of the editorial calendar.
Strategy & Market Research
Conduct competitor and market research to inform positioning, messaging, and go-to-market decisions.
Support development of Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP), pricing insights, and audience segmentation.
Prepare structured research summaries, strategy documents, and reports for the marketing and product teams.
Collaboration & Execution
Participate in daily and weekly team syncs and maintain clear task documentation and output logs.
Support coordination across marketing, content, and product teams to ensure timely delivery of campaign assets.
Work toward a final deliverable by the end of the internship that demonstrates tangible contribution to ARC’s SaaS go-to-market effort.
What Is Outside This Role
Client-facing responsibilities — interns work on internal and client-adjacent tasks only.
Strategic or financial decision-making — all decisions require Line Manager sign-off.
Building or modifying production systems — that sits with the PMO/Engineering team.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s programme in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communications, or a related field.
Strong written communication skills in English with a professional tone.
Basic understanding of digital marketing, SEO fundamentals, or content writing.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and Google Workspace tools.
Strong research and analytical thinking skills, with an ability to synthesise information into structured outputs.
Preferred
Any prior exposure to AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) — even casual use counts.
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console / Analytics.
Prior experience in content writing, blogging, or social media management (academic or personal projects count).
Interest in SaaS products, B2B industries, or technology-driven businesses.
A side project, portfolio, or personal initiative that demonstrates independent initiative and creative output.
