Requirements

 

• Intermediate or Bachelor degree
• Experience in social work, counseling, or mental health settings preferred
• Basic understanding of mental health concepts and community dynamics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary settings
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Compassionate, empathetic, community-focused approach
  
   

NOTE: Female candidates preferred. SINA will provide 7 days training in Mental Health Counselling. After successful completion, candidate will be posted at a SINA clinic as Mental Health Counselor.

Responsibilities

 

• Provide basic mental health counseling, support, and guidance to community members
• Conduct initial mental health assessments and identify individuals requiring further support
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions and mental health awareness activities
• Make appropriate referrals and follow-ups for individuals requiring specialized care
• Maintain confidential records and collaborate with healthcare and community teams
