Network Intern

About the job

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure and connectivity.
• Support configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and network devices under supervision.
• Prepare and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, IP planning sheets, and asset records.
• Develop and update SOPs for basic network operations such as failover and link up/down procedures.
• Assist with network implementation, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with the Network team to ensure smooth and secure network operations
  
   

Requirements

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Networking Fundamentals, OSI & TCP/IP models, and IP Addressing & Subnetting.
• Understanding of Routing (Static, Default Routes) and Switching concepts (MAC Table, VLANs, Trunking).
• Familiarity with ARP, ICMP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio/draw.io, MS Excel, and MS Word.
• Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
