Redstone Commodity Search are working with a Trading house looking to hire an oilseeds trader to join their team.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Manage Oilseeds book to achieve volume and P&L targets for the company.
Identify, negotiate and bring to fruition trade opportunities. 
Supply & Demand Analysis – Keep abreast of latest trends in production, consumption and imports, as well as their impact on balance sheet to ensure company retention and expansion of business lines.
Observe the risks that the platform is taking on a daily basis and gain understanding of the risk-reward ratio for any particular trade, within market risk, counter party risk, quality risk, political risk etc. 
Role reports to Head of Grains and Oils
 

Key Qualifications / Experience

BAA/BSC or MBA/MS in Economics/ACF, experience with specific oilseeds (like soybeans, canola, sunflower, or palm oil) and the trading of these commodities, including factors affecting supply and demand, processing, and distribution.
Years of experience: 5+ years, with exposure to risk management and an understanding of the physical movement of oilseeds, including shipping, storage, and transportation
Experience working in logistics or supply chain management within the agriculture or commodity sector will be advantageos.
Strong negotiation skills are essential.
Role is to be located in Pakistan
