Order Booker - Surgical Distribution

Job Description

You will work closely with customers from initial order placement to final delivery, maintaining clear communication and resolving any booking issues that arise. The role demands attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to managing orders to meet customer expectations. While team management is not part of this position, you will collaborate regularly with internal departments such as logistics and sales to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction, contributing to Medi Source's commitment to excellence in surgical distribution services.
Responsibilities
 

• Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently within the surgical distribution sector.
• Maintain detailed customer records using customer data management systems to ensure order accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with customers to confirm order details and provide updates on order status.
• Coordinate with internal teams including logistics, warehouse, and sales to ensure timely shipment and delivery of products.
• Monitor order progress and resolve any issues or discrepancies to minimize delays and improve customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to surgical product distribution.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and distribution processes to assist customers effectively.
• Identify opportunities for improving order booking processes and suggest enhancements to increase efficiency.
• Support the sales team by providing accurate order-related information and reporting to facilitate forecasting and planning.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues as necessary to management.
