Preschool Teacher

Kiran Foundation is seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and has a strong foundation in child development principles. This role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons that encourage creativity, curiosity, and social skills while ensuring safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed. The Preschool Teacher will work directly with children to support their growth through developmental assessments and personalized learning approaches. The Preschool Teacher does not manage a team but collaborates closely with other educators and staff within the foundation to promote a cohesive and supportive classroom atmosphere. The individual will utilize storytelling, phonics instruction, and interactive learning techniques to enhance children's cognitive and language development. Proficiency in English is essential to effectively communicate with children and their families, as well as to document and assess children's progress accurately.
Responsibilities
 

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in preschool-aged children.
• Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Conduct ongoing observations and documentation of each childs development and behavior to inform individualized teaching strategies.
• Use interactive storytelling, creative arts and crafts, and phonics instruction to promote language skills and literacy.
• Assess child development and perform developmental screenings to identify any areas needing additional support.
• Maintain high standards of safety and hygiene to ensure a healthy classroom setting.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to develop and implement curriculum plans and activities.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and caregivers regarding childrens progress, needs, and classroom activities.
• Prepare materials and classroom resources that support diverse learning styles and developmental stages.
• Encourage social skills development and positive peer interactions through group activities and guided play.
• Stay informed about best practices and developments in early childhood education and apply these to the classroom.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies related to early childhood education and care.
