Production Supervisor

Job Description

The Organic Meat Company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations and ensure alignment with export order requirements. In this role, you will manage a team of 25 personnel to achieve production targets, maintain quality standards, and optimize workflow. You will be responsible for coordinating production planning, inventory management, and continuous improvement processes to support efficient and timely delivery of products. As the Production Supervisor, you will ensure that the number of pieces, kilograms, and cartons matches the specifications outlined by export orders. You will implement effective time management strategies, streamline work processes, and utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to maintain accurate production schedules and inventory levels. This position requires strong leadership capabilities to motivate the team, resolve operational challenges, and foster a culture of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
 

• Coordinate daily production activities to meet export order specifications for pieces, kilograms, and cartons.
• Manage and lead a team of 25 production staff to achieve targets and maintain high productivity.
• Develop and implement production plans aligned with inventory availability and customer demand.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate raw materials and packaging supplies are available to prevent production delays.
• Use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to forecast and schedule production tasks accurately.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Maintain detailed production records and reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments, including quality assurance and logistics, to support smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.
• Train and mentor staff on production procedures, safety protocols, and company standards.
• Resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Promote a positive work environment that encourages team collaboration and employee engagement.
• Manage time effectively to optimize production schedules and meet delivery deadlines.
