Program Officer - School Eye Screening Program -Female

Vision for Education Foundation (V4E) is committed to enhancing eye health among children and communities through comprehensive programs such as school eye screenings, cornea transplantation, and donation awareness initiatives. Our mission is to improve quality of life by providing essential eye care services and support to those in need. We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Program Officer to join our School Eye Screening Program team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering eye care services to school children, ensuring they receive the necessary support to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the daily implementation of the eye screening program in schools and community settings.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with school management, parents, hospitals, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth program operations.
- Manage and analyze program data to assess the effectiveness and impact of the screenings.
- Supervise the follow-up process, including further diagnosis and treatment for children identified with eye disorders.
- Accompany children to hospitals when necessary to facilitate proper care.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant health regulations and child safety protocols.
- Prepare detailed reports based on data analysis for management review and decision-making.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis is essential.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of child safety standards and ethical guidelines within healthcare settings.
- Competency in MS Word and Excel is mandatory.

- Flexible working hours from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm or 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
- This is a full-time, in-person position offering a monthly salary ranging from Rs35,000 to Rs40,000.
