PROJECT ENGINEER

As a Project Engineer at Blessed Solar, you play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering projects to successful completion. With at least five years of experience, you bring strong project management skills combined with technical expertise in AutoCAD and scheduling tools. You are proactive in planning and ensure that all project phases adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Although this role does not involve managing a team, it requires collaboration with various departments and stakeholders to deliver engineering solutions effectively. You utilize your technical drawing capabilities and detailed knowledge of AutoCAD 2D Drafting and AutoCAD Electrical to support the creation and review of project designs. Using Microsoft Project and other project scheduling tools, you develop and maintain comprehensive project timelines and schedules. Your attention to detail and organizational skills ensure that potential risks and bottlenecks are identified early, and you implement corrective actions to maintain smooth project flow.
Responsibilities
 

• Plan and coordinate engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Develop detailed project schedules and timelines using Microsoft Project and related scheduling tools.
• Create and review technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD, AutoCAD 2D Drafting, and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans proactively to address any issues or delays.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to align project activities with objectives and specifications.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date, including technical drawings and project reports.
• Support risk management activities by identifying potential risks and proposing effective mitigation strategies.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status, changes, and requirements.
• Coordinate resources and materials to optimize project workflow and efficiency.
• Apply best practices in project management to optimize cost, schedule, and resource allocation.
• Continuously improve project processes and methods to enhance quality and productivity.
• Comply with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards relevant to engineering projects.
