MAF BIS Credit Information Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a diligent Recovery Officer with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is hardworking and exhibits strong communication skills while effectively managing a small team of one person. This role involves overseeing the entire debt collection process, ensuring that customers adhere to repayment schedules, and maintaining positive relationships with clients to facilitate timely recoveries. The Recovery Officer plays a crucial part in safeguarding the company's financial health by minimizing overdue debts through strategic and respectful engagement with debtors. In this position, the Recovery Officer will utilize their expertise in debt collection procedures and customer relationship management to monitor outstanding accounts and implement recovery strategies. They will coordinate with the team member under their supervision to conduct follow-ups, negotiate payment plans, and resolve customer disputes. The role requires an analytical mindset for tracking recovery performance metrics and making informed decisions to improve the efficiency of debt recovery operations. Strong interpersonal skills and integrity are essential to foster trust and deliver professional service throughout the recovery process.
Responsibilities
 

• Manage and lead a small recovery team to maximize collection efficiency and meet recovery targets.
• Conduct thorough follow-ups on delinquent accounts while maintaining professionalism and compliance with company policies.
• Implement effective debt collection procedures to ensure timely recovery of overdue payments.
• Maintain clear and respectful communication with customers to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve disputes.
• Monitor and document recovery activities and outcomes to provide regular reports to management.
• Analyze account information to identify trends, high-risk accounts, and develop customized recovery plans.
• Coordinate with internal departments to update customer records and escalate cases when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements during all collection activities.
• Utilize customer relationship management tools to track interactions and progress accurately.
• Train and support team members to develop their skills and improve overall team performance.
