CGH is looking for a dedicated Resident Medical Officer (RMO) specializing in Paediatrics to join the morning shift team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in paediatric medicine, with hands-on exposure to both Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) environments. This full-time, on-site position demands strong clinical skills, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting, and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care to paediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical care to paediatric patients within the hospital. Manage and monitor critically ill children in PICU and NICU, administering appropriate interventions as needed. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, delivering life-saving interventions when required. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients under care. Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay current with evolving paediatric care standards. Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients’ families regarding treatment plans and patient progress.
Required Qualifications
A medical degree with specialization or relevant training in Paediatrics is essential. Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of practical experience in paediatric care, particularly within PICU and NICU settings. Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills are required, along with the ability to perform efficiently under pressure in a dynamic clinical environment. A commitment to providing compassionate, quality care to paediatric patients is a must.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
