Scalemill (www.scalemill.com) helps technology companies increase revenue and reduce costs by setting up offsite inside sales, support and customer success teams that handle customer interactions. We exclusively work with B2B (Business-to-Business) SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) products and specialize in lead generation and appointment-setting.
Role
This role is not just an internship, it’s hands-on exposure to the full sales cycle, including lead generation, CRM management, outbound calling and sales funnel execution in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. We're looking for a motivated and confident communicator who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and has a strong interest in sales and business development.
As a Sales Development Intern at Scalemill, you will support the sales team by identifying potential clients, generating qualified leads and scheduling meetings with prospects.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Identify and research potential customers through LinkedIn and other platforms
- Build and qualify lead lists based on the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
- Learn basic outreach strategies through calls, emails and LinkedIn
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Work on CRM systems to update and track leads, calls and activities
- Learn different stages of the sales pipeline and maintain accurate records
- Understand how CRM systems support sales performance and reporting
Outbound Calling
- Make cold calls to potential global prospects using structured scripts
- Build confidence in live customer conversations and professional communication
- Handle basic objections and follow up with prospects when required
Sales Funnel Understanding
- Learn the complete sales process from lead generation to closure
- Track conversion metrics and sales activities in the CRM system
- Work closely with team leads to support pipeline management and optimization
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the sales team to improve outreach strategies
- Share customer feedback and market insights with the team

- CRM execution (Chiraag: updates, tracking & reporting)
- Organization: strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively
