As a Solution Integration Architect you will play a critical leadership role by engaging with various business and technical units to design and implement integration strategies that enhance operational efficiency and meet regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS compliance. By delivering expert advice on system and data architectures, you will influence key decisions affecting software development lifecycle and integration technology adoption. You will be involved in horizon scanning to identify emerging industry trends, enabling the organization to stay competitive and innovative. Managing both internal and external resources, you will ensure the successful execution of integration projects and third-party vendor engagements, fostering effective communication and documentation of service contracts. Your role importantly includes enforcing architectural governance and promoting best practices across all development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-level integration solutions that support the company’s strategic objectives and compliance requirements.
• Analyze and understand the organization’s architectural landscape, identifying dependencies and constraints to shape feasible integration approaches.
• Provide architectural leadership and guidance across multiple domains including enterprise, system, data, and integration architecture.
• Develop, establish, and disseminate architectural principles, policies, and standards to stakeholders across the organization.
• Evaluate build versus buy options to optimize solutions while ensuring sustainability, reusability, and scalability.
• Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends through horizon scanning to recommend innovative integration opportunities.
• Partner with business leaders and technical teams to align solutions with information technology infrastructure, security mandates, and business needs.
• Oversee software development lifecycle stages that impact architectural standards and enforce adherence through detailed design and code reviews.
• Guide the design and development of secure payment gateway solutions with compliance to PCI DSS standards, integrating RESTful APIs and middleware platforms.
• Manage the evaluation and implementation of enterprise integration platforms, including API Management tools, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and other middleware solutions.
• Coordinate requirements gathering and integration strategy definition with project teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business goals.
• Lead and supervise a team of five architects and integration specialists, providing mentoring, resource allocation, and performance oversight.
• Manage third-party vendors and service providers to ensure contract compliance, optimal communication, and quality deliverables.
• Document and maintain records for all integration service contracts, technology stacks, and architectural guidelines.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Agile and DevOps practices, including the design of CI/CD pipelines for integration projects.
• Apply expertise in microservices and service-oriented architecture to promote modular and resilient integration solutions.
