Key Responsibilities: 1. Inventory Management

Maintain accurate stock levels of all items.

Perform regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.

Monitor expiry dates (if applicable) and ensure proper rotation of stock (FIFO/LIFO).

Identify slow-moving and fast-moving items.

2. Receiving & Issuance

Receive materials, equipment, and supplies with proper documentation (GRN / Delivery Challan).

Inspect received goods for quality and quantity.

Issue items to departments against approved requisitions.

Maintain proper records of issued items.

3. Store Operations & Organization

Ensure the store is clean, organized, and properly labeled.

Categorize items for easy identification and retrieval.

Maintain safety standards in the store (fire safety, proper stacking, ventilation).

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain updated inventory records (manual or software-based).

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.

Report stock shortages, damages, and discrepancies to management.

Maintain documentation for audits and compliance.

5. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, and all departments for timely supply of items.

Notify management for re-ordering of stock when needed.

Resolve store-related issues promptly and professionally.

6. Compliance & Policies

Ensure all store activities follow organizational policies and procedures.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive store information.

Assist in internal and external audits when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Graduate  or BS Degree in Supply Chain (preferred).

2–3 years of experience in store or inventory management.

Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.

Basic knowledge of MS Office and inventory software.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and responsibly.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage all store operations including receiving, issuing, storing, and maintaining inventory accurately.
  • Develop and maintain accurate inventory records and reports to monitor stock levels and usage patterns.
  • Coordinate the procurement process by identifying material requirements and placing timely orders with approved suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and service standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor stock levels and implement inventory control techniques to minimize shortages, overstock, and waste.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in all store operations.
  • Lead and supervise a team of two store personnel by assigning tasks, providing training, and monitoring performance.
  • Facilitate order processing and track delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
  • Plan and execute stock audits and physical verifications to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement and store management processes.
  • Address and resolve operational issues promptly, maintaining smooth workflows and minimizing downtime.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory status, procurement activities, and supplier evaluations for management review.
