ABOUT ACTED PAKISTAN:
ACTED is a non-governmental organization with headquarters in Paris, founded in 1993. Independent, private and not-for-profit, ACTED respects a strict political and religious impartiality and operates according to principles of non-discrimination and transparency. ACTED has been present in Pakistan since 1993 and currently supports communities in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, and Azad Jammu Kashmir. ACTED Pakistan programs range from short-term emergency responses to recovery and rehabilitation, as well as longer-term development initiatives. ACTED's strategy targets vulnerable communities affected by natural and conflict-related disasters as well as lack of socio-economic development.
Assignment: The Technical Advisor – Matching Grant Management will lead the design, implementation, and oversight of matching grant mechanisms to support producer groups and enterprises. Responsibilities include developing a matching grant framework, eligibility criteria, operational manuals, and application procedures; facilitating outreach, awareness, and mobilization of eligible producer organizations, cooperatives, SMEs, and production alliances; supporting applicants in preparation of business plans, investment proposals, and grant applications; coordinating technical appraisal, due diligence, and selection processes in line with project and donor guidelines; overseeing grant disbursement, financial compliance, and utilization tracking; providing technical assistance to grantees on implementation, procurement, and financial management; ensuring safeguards compliance, transparency, and grievance redress mechanisms; coordinating with technical, social mobilization, and marketing teams for integrated grant support; developing monitoring systems to track grant performance, outputs, and socioeconomic impact; and documenting best practices and lessons learned to support the development of exit strategies for sustained investment outcomes.
