Job Overview

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of technology-driven projects across ARC's engineering and product portfolios.

This role requires a delivery professional who combines expertise in conventional project management with advanced proficiency in AI-enabled delivery methodologies, modern tooling ecosystems, and the Microsoft infrastructure stack. The ideal candidate brings the same confidence to navigating Azure DevOps and Microsoft 365 as they do to managing sprints, backlogs, and stakeholder communications.

Additionally, the role demands hands-on familiarity with modern AI project management tools including Microsoft Copilot, Claude AI, ChatGPT/GPT platforms, and related intelligent productivity solutions to improve planning, reporting, documentation, and delivery workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Coordination

Lead project initiation including ADO setup, team channel creation, stakeholder communications, and kickoff meetings.
Collaborate with engineering leads to produce detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and accurate effort estimates.
Allocate resources across concurrent projects based on skillset and bandwidth; maintain weekly capacity forecasts.
Develop and maintain project timelines, adjusting proactively for scope changes, dependencies, and risks.
Communication & Collaboration

Maintain regular structured updates to stakeholders on project health, risks, decisions, and delivery timelines.
Facilitate Daily Scrums, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and governance meetings with clarity and professionalism.
Produce meeting minutes, action item trackers, and decision logs promptly after all key meetings.
Ensure all project updates are communicated through appropriate channels within defined SLA windows.
Execution & Delivery

·Track milestones and sprint goals; monitor task completion and escalate delays, risks, and blockers proactively.
Maintain daily ADO board health including task status accuracy, priority alignment, and backlog hygiene.
Coordinate QA handoffs, UAT activities, and release readiness reviews with engineering and product teams.
Validate project completion against scope, acceptance criteria, quality benchmarks, and client expectations.
AI-Enabled Project Management

Champion AI-first delivery practices across planning, execution, reporting, and retrospective activities.
Leverage AI tools to generate project plans, risk assessments, sprint summaries, and stakeholder reports.
Establish governance standards for AI-generated project artifacts, documentation, and outputs.
Mentor project coordinators on responsible and effective AI tool usage in project management contexts.
Hands-on proficiency with:
· Microsoft Copilot (M365 Copilot, Copilot for Project, Copilot for Teams)
· Claude AI / ChatGPT — documentation, risk synthesis, stakeholder reporting
· AI-powered scheduling, forecasting, and meeting automation tools
Microsoft Infrastructure & Ecosystem

ADO proficiency: project setup, backlog management, sprint boards, dashboards, and delivery reporting.
Microsoft 365 Suite: Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Project, OneNote, and Outlook for all coordination activities.
Power BI and Power Automate for delivery metrics dashboards and workflow automation.
Working familiarity with Azure platform concepts — resource groups, environments, and deployment pipelines — sufficient to coordinate Azure-hosted project delivery.
Continuous Improvement & Team Development

Identify process gaps and recommend improvements in delivery workflows, tooling, automation, and governance.
Mentor junior PMs on Agile best practices, AI-augmented delivery, and structured project governance.
Lead post-project retrospectives to capture lessons learned and embed improvements into future cycles.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Minimum 5–8 years of project management experience within a technology or software delivery environment.
Minimum 2–3 years managing delivery in AI-integrated or digitally transformed project environments.
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum frameworks using Azure DevOps.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred; CSM or PMI-ACP advantageous.
Microsoft certifications (Azure, M365, or Copilot) are a strong plus.
