Textile Sourcing Manager

Energetic, creative, and versatile Textile Sourcing Manager needed to join International Mills (www.internationalmills.com) coordinating communication between our factories, logistics companies, and US based retailers. The role involves developing and implementing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to achieve cost savings, quality, and delivery targets.

This role will be remote from your home office with the requirement of traveling to and from the factories around Karachi. The role may require evening work to meet project deadlines or to accommodate hours with the US team.

Key Responsibilities:

• ⁠Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, best practices, and new suppliers to optimize the procurement process.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and lead initiatives to achieve these goals.
• Manage local social compliance audits and PSI inspections of outbound containers with Karachi factories.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures, in all sourcing and procurement activities.
• Develop and maintain procurement metrics to measure supplier performance, identify areas for improvement, and track progress towards targets. Shipping targets are critical when dealing with Home Depot or Walmart.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoice processing, and supplier performance management.
• Assist leadership team with strategic growth initiatives. This may range from product development to marketing and sales; or team building and human resource initiatives. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, a Textile related field.
• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, with a focus on global sourcing and supplier management. The ideal candidate would have a textile background and has experience working with US retailers such as Home Depot or Walmart.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
• Knowledge of sourcing best practices, market trends, and supply chain management principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Salary: Market Competitive and open for discussion
