Assistant Manager – Electrical

Systems Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager – Electrical to lead and support electrical maintenance operations, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency across systems. The role involves supervising teams, planning preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver high-quality outcomes

Scope

• Coordinate with Operations & cross-functional teams for electrical maintenance
• Prepare preventive maintenance (PM) plans per OEM & maintenance guidelines
• Be on-call 24/7; support technicians during escalations
• Assign and oversee preventive & corrective maintenance tasks
• Supervise maintenance staff; ensure safe, efficient, high-quality execution
• Inspect completed work and provide technical guidance
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and handle work-related documentation
• Troubleshoot issues across electrical, mechanical, and I&C systems; lead resolution
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for faults, failures, and trips
• Support outage planning & scheduling; execute planned shutdowns with coordination
• Train team on processes, protection relays, and maintenance practices
• Coordinate with technicians; ensure proper documentation and equipment history
• Manage spare parts planning; raise PRs and review technical quotations
• Liaise with Stores & Procurement for inventory and replenishment
• Ensure compliance with EHS, Quality, and OH&S policies and procedures
• Support EHS activities, including audits, inspections, and policy implementation
• Perform pre-use checks for tools, equipment, and PPE
• Handle additional tasks assigned by the Electrical Team Lead

Required Qualifications

• BE/B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized and reputed University.
• Minimum five years (05) of Facility / Operations Experience
• Strong knowledge in Generators & LV Distribution System, Online UPS, Data Centers, Solar, Control Systems.
