Manager Government Relations

We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive Manager Government Relations to join a leading client in the automotive manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments and regulatory authorities 
  • Handle all matters related to Customs, Taxation, and Excise 
  • Ensure full compliance with government laws and regulations 
  • Coordinate with internal teams on legal and regulatory requirements 
  • Manage documentation, approvals, licenses, and official correspondence 
  • Represent the company in meetings with government stakeholders 
  • Stay updated on policy and regulatory changes impacting business operations 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution 
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Government Relations (Manufacturing/Automotive preferred) 
  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures, taxation, and excise regulations 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills 
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters independently and professionally
