About the Role
We're looking for a remote Social Media Coordinator to bolster our social business operations and enhance our clients' digital presence across multiple platforms.
In this role, you'll work within a team to help oversee client platforms including Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube, managing everything from content scheduling and quality assurance (QA) to community engagement and direct message responses.
Your work will directly impact our clients' social media success through comprehensive management of their online communities, while also supporting our influencer marketing efforts by coordinating partnerships and developing strategic influencer lists that align with client objectives.
Our IDEAL CANDIDATE brings 1-2 years of experience in social media or digital marketing roles. You're a tech-savvy content creator with proven skills in social media platform management (Meta, TikTok, X, LinkedIn) and experience with content scheduling tools like Hootsuite or Sprout Social. You have strong copywriting abilities with a knack for crafting platform-specific messaging that drives engagement. Your background ideally includes experience with CPG brands and influencer coordination. You're detail-oriented and analytical, capable of tracking performance metrics while identifying growth opportunities. As a collaborative team player, you thrive in fast-paced environments, juggle multiple client accounts efficiently, and adapt quickly to changing social media trends and algorithms.
Your performance will be measured by your consistent activity on managed channels, improvement in social metrics (followers, engagement), and proactive communication with the team about project updates and status.
You’ll be on the Social team, and collaborate with the Accounts, Creative, and Media teams. This position reports directly to the Social Media Manager.
You’ll be doing things like:
Social Media Management: Using social media marketing tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social) to schedule posts for client social accounts; monitoring and engaging on social media daily; responding to user queries and comments; directing the creative team for content creation and making minor edits as needed; following client-specific procedures and templates
Influencer Management: Creating influencer lists; vetting potential influencers; learning our Social Influencer Network tool (Tagger); maintaining relationships with our social partner network; helping the Social Media Manager with creative briefs for influencers
Reporting & Analysis: Conducting competitive and platform analysis to track social media trends; testing new approaches and best practices; performing weekly and monthly performance analysis; tracking and reporting on KPIs set by the Social Media Manager
Research & Administrative Tasks: Working with different departments where the Social team is involved; taking meeting notes; providing recap summaries and next steps after meetings
Other duties: Supporting additional tasks as they come up
Skills & Qualifications
1-2 years' experience in social media or influencer marketing, preferably in an agency setting
Excellent written communication and copywriting skills for social content and client communications
Up-to-date with social media trends; proficiency in Instagram and TikTok, with familiarity in X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Ability to identify emerging social platforms and influential creators
Marketing approach grounded in consumer behavior understanding
Strong project management skills with proactive team collaboration
Balance of analytical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities
Clear and effective verbal communication
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel for reporting
High attention to detail when following client procedures and templates
Bonus if you also have:
Experience with North American CPG clients
Specialized social media copywriting background
Influencer management experience on TikTok and Instagram
Content creation and development skills
Social Media or Marketing certifications
Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency
Familiarity with our tools: Sprout, Tagger, Hootsuite, Microsoft Teams
Position Details
Working Hours: Fixed 9AM–5:30PM ET (includes a 30-minute unpaid break)
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week), with exclusive commitment preferred
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant or interesting field
Level: Junior (1-2 years of relevant work experience)
Compensation: Competitive salary above local market rates.
