PPRC Machine Operator

Job Description

KuzaVentures is seeking a skilled PPRC Machine Operator to manage the operation of PPRC pipe extrusion machinery efficiently. The ideal candidate holds an Intermediate or Diploma qualification and brings three years of experience in operating PPRC, PVC, and PLC systems. This role demands attention to detail and a strong understanding of machinery parameters, including temperature, pressure, and speed. The operator is responsible for setting up machines, molds, and dies to produce pipes of varying sizes and thicknesses while ensuring all products meet quality standards. Safety and compliance with company policies are essential to creating a productive and secure work environment. This position focuses on maintaining optimum machine performance through regular inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues. Although this role does not include team management responsibilities, close coordination with supervisors and quality control teams is vital for meeting demanding production targets. The candidate must demonstrate reliability in keeping accurate production records and contributing to continuous improvement efforts at the facility located in Karachi.
Responsibilities
 

• Operate PPRC pipe extrusion machines in line with production schedules and company specifications.
• Set up machinery, including molds and dies, to accommodate different pipe sizes and wall thicknesses accurately.
• Continuously monitor critical machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, and operational speed to maintain optimal performance and product quality.
• Inspect finished pipes for quality assurance, checking dimensions and surface finishes to detect defects or inconsistencies.
• Conduct routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and preventative maintenance to ensure machinery longevity and efficiency.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues promptly to minimize downtime; escalate significant faults to maintenance personnel.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of daily production output, machine performance, and any downtime incidents.
• Follow all safety protocols, quality control procedures, and company policies rigorously to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
• Collaborate effectively with supervisors and quality control teams to ensure production goals and quality standards are consistently met.
• Stay informed about new technologies or methods related to PPRC pipe extrusion to recommend and implement improvements in operational processes.
